This is obviously on a case by case basis depending on the current state of the existing product(s), and suitability for repair can be ascertained at survey.

• Generally the cost to repair and refurbish is less than the cost of a full replacement
• Repairs can generally be carried out quicker as there is no manufacture lead time

• Modern replacement windows and doors will be a longer term solution depending on how long you are planning to stay in the property
• Modern replacement windows and doors will come with a much longer guarantee than a repair
• Modern replacement windows and doors will insulate your home better leading to greater energy efficiency as well as providing improved security
